Eritrea is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-religious country and the history of the formation of Eritrea as a country with its current geography and demography and its repercussions. This country was formed by the Italian colonialists in line with the general purpose of the European colonial scramble for establishing colonies in Africa in search of raw material resources and new markets for their developing home industries.
